PS3 HDMI Green Static Screen Problem?
hi, I have a problem with my PS3's HDMI.... i been using HDMI with diferent cables and diferent TVs since i bought it a year ago... the thing is that today i was watching some videos when suddenly there is some sort of electrical problem(probably because there was a thunder storm) and the PS3 turns off... when I try to turn it on there is nothing on screen... that can happen some times when its turned off in the wrong way... so i tried to reset the video settings by pressing and holding the power bottom for 10 seconds or so while its off(i use that often when i change TVs)... but that did not fix the problem.... instead i got a green static screen in my HDTV(Sony Bravia)... i thought it was broken, but I used the composite cable and work just fine....so at least is not broken, but the HDMI wont work...
anyone knows about this problem and how to solve it??? please help
thanks a lot

Why is my Xbox 360 Screen black and white?
My cousin brought his xbox over and we tried to plug in the xbox with hd picture and sound. We used a A/V cable and got the SD settings to work, but when we plugged in the other cables (green blue and red, so that we can get HD) now we only get black and white. The TV is a Sony Bravia 1080p 120hz so I know that we have an HDTV. We NEED HELP!!!

Many people say that the Sony is better, but from what I can tell, the LG has a lower response time, greater contrast ratio, and other features. So which one do you think is better and why?
PS3 game brought from HK with BLAS code at the side.?
I live in Ireland with a PAL HDTV and PAL PS3, and from what i read, games brought from abroad will work even if their NTSC outputs. But my question is, you no the way when your in the PS store, the descriptions of some of the addon's say that you'd need a specific BLES or BLUS copy of the game for it to download the addon? So like all my games are BLES but i bought two BLAS an one BLUS game from HK this summer and i'm wondering if i can go home and UPDATE the games?? Like would they let me update the game cause we all no that Sony don't let you play the games unless you update them. Can anyone please HELP!!
What are my legal rights on my purchase?
I purchased a HDTV about 3 -1/2 years ago from a Sony outlet store. I have had a great TV until recently I am suffering from a common issue that this model was known for. So I took a chance, but fortunately I purchased a extended warranty to cover my a** if I did have an issue. When I looked at the receipt I noticed they wrote it up as a KDS-60A2000 when in reality I own a KDS-55A2000. I believe I was charged for a 60" TV when I really have a 55". Which also means I may have paid more for the extended warranty since I believe it is based on a percentage of the purchase price.
So now what, what can I do. Can they refund me the difference after all these years? Can I say hey, I paid for a 60" where's my 60"?
What are my legal rights?
Thanks!

How do I hook up my computer to my TV? (more details below)?
Dear Internet,
I have a 13" MacBook Pro and a 60" Sony SXRD rear-projector HDTV. I would like to be able to hook up my mac so I can use my tv as a monitor and have the sound come out of my tv. My mac has a mini-display port and my tv has a HDMI port. So my question is:
Should I
1. buy a mini-display port to HDMI adapter, and a HDMI to HDMI chord, or
2. buy a mini-display port to VGA adapter, and a VGA to HDMI chord?
Does it make a difference which configuration I use? Would one be cheaper?
I would rather use the latter because I could then use that adapter to hook up my computer to a smartboard, but if it would be much cheaper to use the first one, or if it would have better quality, I would want to use that.
Links to buy the chords would also be appreciated; I have read about many chords that don't work, and I want ones that do (obviously).
Please help! I want to surprise my mom on her birthday by doing this.
How has your experience been with lg brand hd televisions?
I would appreciate if owners of one or someone with general hdtv knowledge answer. I have been impressed with two different 32" lcd Samsungs and a 40" Sony. What about LG tho? I can afford something between $400-500 (32"-37") and I can get a 1080p LG no problem off amazon for like $430 but most of the comparable Samsungs are a bit more with 1080p. If LG really aint so shabby I might just get an LG. I do not want a Vizio b/c I just do not trust them. Panasonic? What say you?
