720 vs 1080 on a 32 inch Sony hdtv?
I am planning on buying a new Sony HDTV, but undecided on whether to get a 720 or 1080 resolution. I want to get a 32 inch because its the right size for my bedroom. I understand that the two resolutions represent the number of horizontal lines on the screen and that in tvs smaller than 40 inch will not show a huge difference, but I want to make sure I choose the right one based on my TV habits.
I don't watch TV as much any more but I do watch a lot of movies, plus I plan on hooking my tablet and computer up to the TV as a monitor. Also, I have direct TV but no HD channels and will not be upgrading to HD any time soon. Lastly, I do have two game consoles, PS2 and Wii, that I occasinally play, but these two are definitely not the new models that are currently out. So which is best, 720 or 1080, for a casual TV watching, old school video game playing girl who likes watching movies?
Sony KP-46WT500 46inch Widescreen HDTV TV issue.?
Very rare when this happens, but sometimes it will flash blue and turn off, when I turn it back on it will shut off again. I do that about 10 times until it stays on. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Should I keep my old 34" Sony 1080i CRT HDTV?
I just bought a new 43" Plasma, but have a nice 34" Sony Widescreen HD Tube TV. The picture is incredible on it, but the TV weighs over 200 pounds and is very deep. Should I keep this TV around or should I get rid of it? I paid $2000 for this thing back in 2002.

Which of the 2 TV's should I buy?

I've been doing my research for a couple months and I've narrowed it down to these 2 tvs. I've talked with a person at my local Best Buy and he said that they would have to get the Bravia shipped to store being that they don't have it in store. Last time I was there they had the LG in store, so I was also curious if the LG was on par with the Bravia. I've heard that the Bravia's speakers are pretty darn good, which is obviously a + for me if it actually holds true. I love to play videogames such as Halo Reach, Forza 4, ES: Skyrim, Left for Dead, and Rockband 3. Also every weekend my brothers and I get together to watch new releases (movies). I have a feeling the Bravia is the way to go but if the LG is just as good then I'd just walk in one Saturday and buy it as opposed to waiting for the Bravia. I'll have $1100 once I get my refund so if there is a tv you would reccomend over these 2 and it's within my price range then let me know.
PS3 won't work from 1 hdtv to another.?
My PS3 works fine on my Sony HDTV w/ HDMI. However, when I bring it into another room in my house and trying hooking it up to another HDTV (this one is a mitsubishi), nothing shows up. There isn't sound, picture or anything. Then I bring it back to the Sony Tv and it works perfectly. I'm assuming there is something wrong with the Mitsubishi, but I just wanted to be sure. Any suggestions?
What type of TV has the best picture?
I currently have a Sony 34" CRT HDTV KV-34XBR960. It has a awesome picture and great black levels, but It's time to get with the times and get a flat panel tv. What TV should I but that will match the vibrant colors, and the deep black levels my old Sony has?
