Fastest/best distro of LINUX?
Hey guys, Lately, i've been doing a lot of work with my notebook. By "work" i mean, messing around with various operating systems and what not. I've installed OSX on my Acer Aspire 5336 notebook but no avail to get any wifi drivers to work properly. I am currently dualbooting win7 and OSX SL.
So i posted this questions asking "What is the best Linux Distro". I am completely 100 percent new to linux and from what I hear is an extermely well designed OS for virtually any user. Its fast and can be highly customizable. I am a man of speed and looks.
I was hoping someone could point me into the fastest and smoothest distro of linux that also comes with a "flashy" look. Thanks for anyones help!

how to enable wireless internet on an acer?
i have a acer travelmate 3260 and it recently crashed so i rebooted with windows 7. my the internet radio button is broken in the front. I'm trying to find a way to manually enable my wireless. I've seen different blog post but do not seem to find a solution for my problem does anyone know to to enable manually so i can get wireless on my laptop?

Difficulties with Oceanis...?
So I have Windows 7 Starter on my Acer Aspire 1, which I've had for 2 years now. Throughout these years I've had to stare at the same, awful wallpaper that comes with the program which is unchangeable... After doing some research I found a program that can change the wallpaper. So I downloaded it (Oceanis) apparently it's rather popular. However, none of these tutorials teach you what to do if it doesn't work correctly.
So when I downloaded it, the setup wizard had me restart my computer, after doing so I went to open the program and it asked me to restart again, after repeating this process three times I finally came to the conclusion that something went awry. Please help!

Bought this PC in 2009, compiled by ACER (I've never built a PC myself, don't know much about it).
What should I upgrade? By the way, a couple of weeks ago my PC started getting glitches and show some LSD-trip like images when I'm playing games or even watching videos, which I think that is perhaps my display adapter's fault?
Also, can my motherboard run an ATI Radeon HD 7970?
