How do i copy Copy-Protected VHS to DVD?
I am simply trying to transfer my 200+ Disney VHS collection to DVD for my son, not for personal profit but simply for personal use, because VHS is nearly obsolete.. The same issues I am coming across is that because of Macrovision and copy right infringements that there is no simple way to do this with a VHS to DVD recorder... I am looking into a Magnavox ZV457MG9, but I dont really want to pay all that money if I am going to have to purchase all these extras just to do it (i.e.; stabilizer). Is there a simpler way to come about this? Is the Magnavox a good purchase... Is there anyone that can help because my head is spinning! LOL
And if i purchase a stabilizer can I do this at home w my personal VHS player and DVD..w out buying the Magnavox VHS to DVD recorder?
I am trying to stick to DVD and VHS components because I already have a lot going on on my computer and don't want to crash it.. so the answers I am gearing more towards are in that sense... thanks for your help!
Can I use this DVD Recorder to record Wii gameplay?
I plan on getting a Magnavox ZC320MW8 Multi-Format DVD-R/-RW/+R/+RW Recorder refurbished from Walmart.com. I want to be able to record gameplay from my Wii. Is it possible to use this recorder and plug my Wii into the input and then plug the recorder into my TV?

How to watch HD DVD in my blue ray magnavox player?
My Philip magnavox blue ray player is capable of playing regular dvd, but when I put in HD DVD in my player, it doesn't seem to work. It has a label marking that it plays Full HD. Is there a setting that I need to do in order for me to watch HD DVD in my blue ray magnavox player?

Trying to hook up acer aspire to magnavox tv with hdmi to component...?

Acer Aspire has output of HDMI on left side, but my old a$$ tv doesnt even have s-video. It does have component, though (red blue green with yellow and white connections)
I got a convertor (no brand just a model number of YCH01) that downgrades (hdmi output on computer to component input of tv).
I get it all hooked up to the AV1 spot on back of tv, and my computer screen goes black, and then the tv changes from av1 to cv1. However I have no video or audio, just scrolling blobs of color like trying to tune in HBO back in the old days with a scrambled channel.

I have a magnavox tv with a built in dvd player. However, when I want to watch a DVD there is no sound. there is sound on the other stations just not on the dvd stations.
