Recent Panasonic Discussions:

Panasonic DMC-TZ25 (ZS15)?

Hi! I want to buy a new camera and I found out the Panasonic DMC-TZ25 (also called ZS15). I would principally be using it for concerts (very low light) and a lot of camera shake. I would like to know it it's a good choice. I've seen many good reviews for the TZ7 concerning concerts, but I can't find anything about the quality of the TZ25... Also, if you have an example of a low light picture or video (ex: concert), it would be really nice! Thank you!

Which LED TV is the Brightest and has the most vivid colors?

Hi I currently have the Sony KDLEx400 and that is an LCD tv. The sony tv is very very bright and I prefer that. I of course turned off the ambient sensor because I like the picture to be very very bright. The colors are pretty good on the sony tv. The thing is before this tv I used to have the Magnavox CRT TV and that tv was awesome. I know that the magnavox has a glass screen and everything but the colors were very vivid and were like popping out and it was very bright. That is a great combination. The only issue that I have with my sony tv is that sometimes it feels like there is a cloud cover in front the colors. In other words the colors are not popping out and very vivid as they should be. I tried a panasonic plasma before and I felt that it was dim compared to the sony tv even though the blacks were very black and the colors were kind of popping out. It is just that it was dim compared to the sony tv even though I played with all the settings but still the sony was very bright. Now I am thinking that maybe an LED TV will be the answer to my problem but I am not really sure because I am looking for a picture that is very very bright and the colors that are very vivid and pop out like the Old CRT tv's. I am using Dish Network with HDMI cable and by the way on a non hd channel the picture is way better on my old Magnavox CRT TV as compared to my HDTV Sony. So my main question is which LED TV priced around $600 or $700 or less will be as bright as my sony tv but will have very vivid colors and I want the blacks to be dark black like a plasma. Please help and give me the model number of the TV. I need a tv that is at least 40 inches. I will be using High Definition Dish Network using HDMI. Thanks.

why cant i get sound from an hd channel through my soundbar?

I use freesat to watch hd channels but I only get clicking and static noises. All other channels are fine. I am using an optical lead supplied. The only ways round this is to turn on the audio description option (annoying) or use jack plugs into the headphone socket instead. The tv is a panasonic, the soundbar is an orbitsound Any ideas

So why do Pinoys have old school American names?

I'm surprised when I encounter these names and see the faces, total mismatch, but I am more surprised their parents chose these names in the first place. It's like a early 1900's World Fair of Promising inventions that never flourished, these names never caught on except Philippines - Bart Nelson Winston Forrest Tracy Cornelious Emerson Edison Darwin Wilmer Rex Gordy Watson Bernard Barney So now whats next? Chloe, Zhoey, Clive?? I'm surprised Panasonic isn't taken, and you all know what I'm talking about, so please explain @Jex( Just what I'm talking about) A...(What ever real traditional sounding Pinoy name) - You're welcome bro, I'm glad I'm getting though, You're name gets my 2 points across also , so thanks for that bro @Jex - LOL, cool man

Hi I am Jo... I am having a digital camera (Panasonic lumix DMC-LZ28). Today morning I have taken the memory card out of camera to upload the photos in the memory card to the computer. I have connected it through card reader. Auto play did not appear on the desktop. When I opened it in the my-computer it is displaying the dialogue box “format memory card “. Then I take out the card and inserted in the camera and the camera is asking for “memory card error format memory card”. What should I do now? Is it possible to plug a Playstation 1 into a Panasonic TV?

I found my old Playstation and I'd like to play it, but I'm not sure if it's possible to plug it into a Panasonic TV. Does anyone know how to do that? What channel I need to be on (HDMI 1/2/3, Video 1, etc)? The cord doesn't have red/yellow/white cables. It's a black circular cord with one end.
