I have my laptop connected to my LCD samsung plasma using the computer VGA cord. as for the sound, i have an AUX cable i plug one side into the TV's headphone socket and the other to my Laptop socket, now the problem is, i still hear no sound from the TV, and its weird because the sound used to work when i hooked up the AUX cable, and i tried to cord on my other tv and the sound worked perfect, is there something wrong with the aux port on my tv? or is there a setting i have to change?

I was cashiering at Walmart when a rather overweight woman and her kids came through my checkout lane. She was wearing a Chanel dress and her hair had a bright red weave in it. Not only that, but her nails were brightly painted in a rainbow of hues. She had her four children pushing the two cartfuls of junk food (Hostess snack cakes, Tostino's Pizza Rolls, Coke, etc.), an iPad, and a Samsung 52' flatscreen LCD TV. I noticed that her kids' clothing looked old and torn, and they had a strong odor, as though they had not bathed in at least a week.
After ringing everything up, she owed around $1400. She pulled her Coach wallet out of her Gucci bag and handed me an EBT card, which easily accepted the transaction. After she left the store, I showed my customer service manager the receipt, and she said that it looked suspicious. Anyway, why is it that these people can game the system while I work to feed my family for $7.85 an hour? Just curious.
Why does my LCD Samsung TV go black sometimes?
My Samsung TV has been doing that for few months now, it will go black once in a while and stay like that for 10-30mins than you can see again; you can hear the sounds from it still. Is it the light bulb inside the TV that needs to change?

The TV repairman said the main board needs to be replaced which would cost me $295. That includes labor. Should I get it fixed or purchase a new one. When I bought this 32 inch TV from Circuit City it cost me over $1,000.
How do i remove the source list from appearing on samsung lcd tv?
I have a samsung tv and I use directv. Everytime I change the channel with my directv remote to watch a different channel, the source list that says which composite the tv is set to shows up on the tv and it is very annoying because it blocks the screen causing the tv screen to briefly jump before it goes away. Is there any way to remove the source list from appearing every time I change the channel?
why does my samsung tv keep turning itself on and off?
i have a 38" Samsung LCD TV and when i turn it on from the power switch sometimes the red light does not even turn on signifying that it is on (standby)?
Also other times, when it is on (standby), i press the power button on my remote for it to turn on and it either flashes and then does nothing, or it turns off, then instantly turns itself back off again (or after a few secs). It does it repeatedly too, on then off etc...

would an hdmi repeater solve this issue?
I recently re set up my home theater including all 3 of the current game consoles. I have an in-wall 15ft hdmi cable that connects to an hdmi box on each end. From my Samsung 46" LCD tv is a 3ft HDMI cable to the box and the receiver, a Yamaha 5.1 is connected to the other box by a 6ft HDMI cable. Going in to the receiver I have a PS3, Xbox360, and a Wii. Each of the consoles is connected to the receiver through a 6ft HDMI cable. So far we are getting flashes across the screen with the PS3 and video blinking with the Wii. I haven't tried the Xbox yet but I am anticipating similiar issues. My question lies in whether or not an HDMI repeater would correct the problem. Each console is sending its signal approx 30ft ft before it hits the television. So far the audio has been fine and I also have not had any issues with the cable (xfinity) which is also connected to the receiver.
Thoughts on this? I am completely stumped and don't want to shell out the cash for the repeater if its not going to fix my problem
