ok i have a SONY DAV-DZ175 DVD Home Theater System and sometimes late at night when everyone is asleep i just want to watch movies through the tv sound not the sorund sound speakers could someone tell me how to do that cause i can not get it to work

I have the new shape ps3 and it won't connect to my tv?
I have the new shape ps3 and it won't connect to my tv, I've always used a hdmi cable and that works fine with my Xbox, but my ps3 screen doesn't wanna show, my tv is a Sony Bravia and when it's off and my ps3 is off, I turn on ps3 only and it turns on my tv but nothing shows apart from tv says on top play station 3 but still ps3 screen can anyone help me? I have no idea what to do, I've try resetting method but mine doesn't bleep I think that only works with the old shape ps3
How to Connect N64 to new Samsung LED?
I just bought a brand new Samsung HD LED TV. I want to play my nintendo 64 on it, so I need to somehow connect the N64's RCA red/white/yellow cables into my TV. Nothing I plug into works for audio or video.
On the back of my TV it has no yellow input for an RCA plug. It has 1 green (encircled by yellow) on the far right, 2 whites and 2 reds.
I tried plugging the N64 Yellow, red, and white into all of them, but I couldn't see video or hear audio from the game.
I tried switching the TV to 'AV' component, and also normal 'TV' component. While on 'TV' mode I tried channels 1 through 3, nothing showed up.
Do I need to switch to 'Video' mode from the 'TV' mode? Like I used to do for my old Sony Trinitrons? Or do I need a plug converter to change my N64's RCA plugs into an HDMI or something?
HELP! :P
added details edit: There are no other inputs. The only things on the sides are 2 HDMI inputs, and a USB input.
So you're telling me I need some kind of converter than changes my old school composite RCA into the more advanced RCA that splits the video into 3 different plugs?

What file format does a DVD player read?
I have a new Sony DSC-WX50 camera that takes GREAT video. When I upload it to my computer, it saves the video as a "AVCHD" file. When I try to burn the file to a DVD or CD, the software does not even recognize it as a video file. I have to select to show "ALL FILES" to see it. However, after I burn it to disk, the DVD player on TV does not recognize it. I have other videos saved also as "WINDOWS MEDIA" files that DO show up on the burning software as videos, but I burned them and they are not recognized on the DVD player through TV either.

Have a sony hdtv and a bose surround sound system, and I currently have a comcast remote for the tv and able box, and another for the surround sound volume. Is there a way I can get a remote that will control both the cable, tv, and surround sound?

Risks of extended use of LCD TVs?
Do LCD TVs suffer from fatigue? Does extended usage cause any problems? I'm specifically talking about SONY BRAVIA LCD TVs with the usage of 6hrs a day (work days) and 18hrs of usage (weekends) with ample ventilation and surge protector.
P.S. My mom is nagging me to close it every time because she thinks it will fry due to heat. :)
