Connecting DVD/VHS combo to Sylvania LC320SS2 LCD TV?
Trying to set up a DVD and VCR computer on a Sylvania LCD TV. Tried plugging in the red and white cord in the audio port in the back but no place to put yellow cord for video. Tried putting in the orangish looking coaxial port but didn't work. Bought a red, blue, and green component cord and plug it in on the side for DVD which worked for the DVD but don't work for VHS. The VCR/DVD side of the player in the back only have Red, White, and yellow but still don't know what to do with the yellow. Worked on it for a while and then quit. Trying to get it connected.
Are these the symptoms of a failing Fuel Pump? Electrical system?
-1. Car is off for around 10 minutes after driving.
-2. Car is turned on. Car idles fine. No hesitations what so ever.
-3. Car is put in reverse out of parking spot. Still no hesitations what so ever.
-4. Car accelerated in drive. Slow, medium, or fast, up to 15-25 mph.
-5. Car hesitates, or somewhat 'loses power' or as I define it, Choking. It's as if the fuel delivery line is being pinched by a mechanical crab, then let go. Car does so for no more than 3 seconds, and proceeds driving in perfect shape. No heavy idling, no loss of power, perfect driving car. No shaking, nothing.
-6. When/After driving for at least 20 minutes, and at a STOP at a traffic light:
Power does seem to take a shorter bit of time from zero to 15, as if the transmission 1st gear is going out sooner than the other gears, but takes off right after. It's just sluggish right after that little bit of a push. May just be the fact that the car is warming up.
I will tell you the make and model info, then I will tell you what I have already done to my car by a 100% certified mechanic that I trust and see as he is doing the work for me.
1998 Honda Civic EX Coupe, Automatic, 4 cylinder, 1.6L Vtec SOHC, D16Y8 engine, 178,000 miles
Now for the work I have done to the car as recent as last week:
New radiator; hoses also - OEM
New thermostat and gasket - OEM
New serpentine belts (all) - OEM
New timing belt (Gates)
New water pump (Gates)
New underside exhaust from cat to rear and muffler also (not including catalytic converter)
New fuel filter
OK air filter
New fan heat sensor; attached to thermostat housing
New fan relay
New radiator cap (1.1; 16 psi with pressure relief switch)
New head gasket, MLS by Fel-Pro (did this a week ago, and properly)
Now considering all of the above that I just did to my car, some taking quite a while to figure out over the past 2 months, some in the past few weeks or days, the current problem was still a problem
before and after I had the head gasket timing belt and serpentine belts replaced.
There is still a slug in my car. Do I need new fuel injectors is my question, but then the next one is do I need a new fuel pump, or do I need to change something else in the fuel delivery system, or do you think it might just be as simple as a relay?
Thanks.
(Coolant has been at perfect level at the end of every day. Coolant system is also completely flushed as you know; the engine was taken apart. Engine oil is new topped off and 5w30. Transmission fluid is topped off and new. This problem started happening right after it was sitting for a solid 6 weeks while I was away)
I will also add that these are also brand new:
Distributor/cap/roater
Spark plug wires -(Bosch)
Spark plugs (double platinum "Sylvania" I believe, might also be Bosch).
Also, in the past this 1 thing has happened twice that was incorrectly diagnosed and other things were repaired instead of doing it from the ground up:
Spark plug wires (2) frayed a year ago. Car handled as if it had water in the gas tank. $250 job for simple spark plug wires. They put in a new distributor for no other reason than process of elimination.
The same thing happened a year later (a month ago) and car was sluggish, down to 15 mph as I'm down to the floor with the pedal.
Turned out that a spark plug wire was smoking, burning plastic mist everywhere. Figured I would replace all spark plugs and wires cause plugs might be due, and heck why not the wires also.
Turned out that I ended up snapping a spark plug in half as it lay imbedded in the engine. Got it out by the skin of my teeth, ran fine.

Getting stuff that has nothing to with my searches on yahoo, google, youtube and ebay?
Does anyone have any idea why when I do a search on yahoo, google, youtube, and now ebay I get stuff that has nothing to do with my search?
I'm really getting tired of doing a search and having stuff that comes up like I said has nothing to do with my search!
Lets say I do a search for Polaroid 4.3 internet tablet. I get stuff about iPad, Sylvania, Coby Kyroa, and so on! If I wanted the other stuff I'd do search for them, instead!
Even on ebay now! Used to be at least on ebay if the words and or letters/numbers weren't in the search I wouldn't get anything. Now it's like bait and switch, sort of.
Anyone else getting tired of this also?
Thanks
Thanks, not a virus!
Does Sylvania SYNET07526 netbook boot USB?
This is one of those infamous $99 netbooks sold in drug stores, identical to the chinese ones on Ebay. I would like to scrub Win CE for Linux but you'd need to boot a USB or SD Card. I've seen where people seem to have installed Android. Any first-hand info.?
What is something worth on ebay?
I got this sylvania synet0756 and this person that does my ebay buissness(since im not 18) won a bid on this new ibm computer and i would like to sell my current netbook. How much will it fetch me on ebay with an enercell universal charger? (i've kept good care of it and i'm using it right now [100% fully functional]) like I mentioned, I would like to sell it, and would like to see the value of it. I can load wince 7.0 if it raises the price. (had to pay for it with all the $$ on my debit card just to load onto my ipod touch). thanks
How to remove the glass screen from an old TV?
I'm making a TV-helmet for a costume. I've gutted the TV (a tiny old Sylvania, model 6413TG) and have removed all the parts (but kept them), leaving me with the plastic casing. Now what I need is the glass face. The CRT had already been discharged, but my knowledge of TV's is limited. I want just the TV glass, not the things attached to it. I need to have enough room for my head to fit in there (obviously I can't do that with this giant thing).
So I'd like to know what your suggestions are for removing the glass. If you think this is impossible to do safely, which I am worried it is, can I get a suggestion on what I can do to replace it? I need a screen to cover my face.
Thank you so much!
